MADISONVILLE, KY — Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries, and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.
“At the very heart of patient safety is its focus on the patient,” stated Alisa Coleman, President of Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. “The empowered patient becomes a strong member of his or her healthcare team. At Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville our staff is known for providing high quality, compassionate care to our family, friends, and neighbors. Our patients trust us to keep them safe and we are dedicated to consistently improving our processes to deliver the care reflected in this safety rating,” added Coleman.
