Join Our Advisory Council

Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville is seeking volunteers to serve on the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC). This group collaborates with leadership and staff to improve our services. Patients, family members, or caregivers who have received care at the hospital or outpatient locations and are available to meet quarterly (four times per year) are encouraged to apply.

No medical education, background, or experience is required. You must be 18 years of age or older and have had an experience with Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville within the past 12-18 months.

What We Do
The Patient Family Advisory Council meets to provide input and offer advice to improve the overall patient and family experience as well as patient safety. Staff regularly seek the council’s feedback regarding hospital procedures, safety measures, and the overall delivery of care.

Council members draw on their personal experiences and backgrounds to offer suggestions to hospital leadership about planning and evaluating services, programs, and policies, as well as how best to educate patients, families, and caregivers.

If you meet the membership requirements and are interested in serving on Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville’s Patient Family Advisory Council, applications can be returned via mail to:
