Blood Bank

Since the inception of the Baptist Health Deaconess Blood Bank in Madisonville in 1961, our mission has been to provide our patients with a safe and adequate blood supply while maintaining the highest standards in quality and cost efficiency. We are but a stepping stone in this life-saving process and without volunteer blood donors we could not meet the needs of our growing community.

The Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville Blood Bank provides both fixed site and mobile donor drives throughout the community. The center is located at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital on the first floor next to CCU.

The actual donation usually takes 5-15 minutes while the entire process takes about 45 minutes.
